VIP Nail Spa

Friendly staff but this is my 2nd time not being satisfied. My nails are dull, lumpy and polish uneven. last time I went back and got it fixed for it only to look worse this time I paid way more for a horrible job. I don't know the issue but I won't be back!

You better have your Google translate on because they will talk about you like a dog. As I got up from the tech painting my toes, she says something to the other tech. She then starts laughing. I said are yall talking about me? What did she say? The translation was that she insulted my toes. Icl canceled my nail service and walked out. The other tech tried to convince me that the insult was not bad. WHAAAAT?!?!

Nice people that work there. However, the establishment is not clean and it smells sour inside. Very little nail color options to choose from and service was rushed.

Let me start by saying! I was in NC visiting family before a deployment and requested for a basic pedicure and no polish because I had no plans of getting pedicures while deployed and I had gel polish on that needed to be taken off. SO! The younger male serviced me and I asked him NOT to clip the sides of my toe nails. Mind you I have never had an ingrown OR infected toenail EVER! Why do I have one now. Something told me to not even sit down when I saw the utensils sitting in a bowl and NOT out of a package like they had been sterilized! After me repeating myself MULTIPLE times about not clipping my toenails he turned to his little minion and spoke whatever the hell it is they speak and they giggled. I asked "excuse me" and he looked surprised that I asked, shook his head no and proceeded.

Long story short! PLEASE PLEASE take this review into consideration! I don't EVER post these but they needed to be blasted. And when I get back from Afgh I'll be SIRE to pay you all a visit if you aren't SHUT DOWN already!

I should've looked at the reviews before coming here, that was a big mistake. The absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to. Was not worth my time or money. Never again.

I needed to find a place that could do my eyebrows so I gave this place a try, Moon took good care of me and cleaned my eyebrows up very nicely. When God created perfect brows he chose to create me with a little challenge. So if anyone can make them look great is truly a magician.

"Under New Management" with the same staff is still the same company. They tried rushing me out the shop when I asked for them to fix a nail. They discriminate STILL.

All the reviews are based off the previous owner, but of course due to the miscommunication/misunderstandings of not being fluent in English, everything was told from one perspective. I personally use to come here when Mimi did own the salon, but after all the YouTube/bad reviews that was written from the incident she had sold the business to the current owner. I gave the new owner and her staff a try.....and I would never come back again. The technician could barely see with his glasses so he cut me a few times, didn't fully polish my nails and left me with air bubbles in my gel polish. It was a complete disaster. The owner was very rude to other clients and I can understand her native language in which I didn't appreciate the way she spoke about her clients AND employees.

Terrible service. I came for a quick polish change and a African girl did my polish. She messed up the polish by mistake and tried to fix it without redoing the whole thing. She messed it up more. She said it would look fine by the time it dries. Well it did not. By this time I had to leave. When I just asked for a discount instead of redoing it they started yelling at me in front if customers. I would never recommend service here to anyone. You can go on capital or Trawick and pay less with much better service. Try at your own risk!

This was my go-to place for a long time. Nina used to make my nails look fab here in the past but now it has gone down....down...down. I went in today for the first time in more than a year. The place was deserted except for a male employee snoozing in a pedicure chair (weird). A woman came from the back, said her name is Rose, and asked me what I wanted. I told her I want acrylic nails with gel polish and she sat me down. I told her I usually get a sparkly red that's #66 in OPI and she said "we don't do color matching and we don't have OPI here so choose one of these colors". Since they didn't have my color I opted for a french manicure. She asked how long I want the nails and if I want a white tip (isn't that a french mani?!?)

I came prepared with a photo and I attempted to show her so she would know exactly the length and shape I wanted. She told me "I don't need to see that because I can't match some color in a picture so just choose one of these colors". I told her there's no color on it, it's just a french mani with slightly rounded nails. She still refused to look at the photo dismissing me with a wave of her hand and an eye roll. I told her I want it to look natural. Then she said she can't do a natural looking french manicure because she only has transparent tips and "extra white tips" (wth is that?!?!) She was very brusque and alarms were going off n my head but I was on a limited time frame because I had an event to attend at 7pm.

At this point she took my hand and started cutting my nails. At one point she snagged it and I told her it hurt. She looked at me like I was being a pansy and kept going. That's when I knew it was time to bail. I said "thanks but no thanks" and got the hell out of there.

The shop is raggedy and it looks nothing like it used to. Furnishings are plastic chairs in the waiting area now and there's a big mirror that fell off the wall and is now propped up against it. Rose's attitude is just as bad as the raggedy furniture and I would never ever return. I left here and went to Majestic on Capital Blvd where my nail tech Kyle did an AMAZING job on my nails!
