aTube Catcher

aTube Catcher is an application allowing downloading files from most popular video hosting services. The program allows:

• downloading videos from webpages such as MySpace, Dailymotion, YouTube, Yahoo!, Metacafe, Spike, Megarotic, CBS, comedycentral, MyPlay, Globo, RTVE and others
• converting files to several formats (MPG, AVI, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, WMV, PSP, MOV, FLV, DVD, VCD)
• creating profiles with personalized settings of audio/video/format of source material (the program has a set of tens of profiles used e.g. for converting for iPad, iPod, PSP devices, mobile phones, Android devices, iPhone)
• saving downloaded files on DVD/VCD
• searching video materials via built-in engine
• capturing streamed media
• recording sound (saving to MP3/Wave/WMA)

Note

Default installation ends up with adding a new toolbar to the browser and changing the default search engine along with the homepage.
