jawar is a millet that has complex carbs. A Healthy alternative to wheat. Ingredients and method for Jowar Roti • Makes 6-7 Rotis. In a pot, Add 1 Cup water, Let it come to a boil, Then add 1/2 Tsp Salt 1/2 Tsp Ghee 1 Cup Jowar Aata -Mix well until properly combined. Then switch off the gas flame, Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes. -Once it’s cool to touch, Knead it nicely for 8-10 minutes to make a smooth dough. -Now Make rotis as you usually would. -Roast on a pan on medium to high flame. Do not cook on low flame, it will get hard. • Benazir’s Tip - The thing about roasting Jowar rotis is, the longer you roast, the harder it gets. They are whitish in color even after roasting.

Spicy, cheesy & full of flavour 🔥 For the Thecha: - 2 tbsp Oil - 1 tbsp Jeera - 1 cup Green Chillies - ½ cup Garlic Cloves - ½ cup Coriander finely chopped - ½ cup Peanuts roasted - Salt to taste Method: - Heat oil in a pan, add in jeera, green chillies and cook till they blister - Then add in garlic cloves and saute further - Lastly add in coriander, peanuts cook for another minute and transfer into a mortar pestle along with salt - Pound till you get a coarse paste - In a bowl mix grated paneer with thecha and keep aside - Take a slice of sourdough crisp it up on one side, flip it and spread a layer of the paneer thecha filling on top with some grated cheese and coriander - Flip again and cook - Top it off with some cheese, coriander and serve!
