My clients wanted this space to serve a whole bunch of different purposes - puzzles, reading, games, and relaxing by the fire. These were just some of the activities that they envisioned for this living room-turned-library. So I added this tete-a-tete where someone could perch on one side to hang out with the people playing games and on the other side to chat with the people reading.
