I’ve been asked why I didn’t do the shaker style finish on the other side and the reason is, it would have added more depth to the thickness of the door, thereby decreasing the amount of entry space.  If you recall the original space was so small, that I took out my water closet door and door frame and gained an additional 4” to the entry! But then I had the wonderful idea to use my old double doors that I removed from my bedroom to bath entry and convert them into a bi-fold door!
