Kyle Morris on Instagram: "Standard bunker play The average bunker shot happens from about ten yards to the flag. Knowing that, it makes sense to work diligently on these shots. To work on these correctly, we first need to make a few adjustments to get the club to interact correctly with the sand. ⛳️Ball position off lead ear (forward) ⛳️Handle positioned up the middle of the body ⛳️Weight more forward ⛳️Release the club earlier than a full shot Where your nose is in relation to the ball at set up with determine where you enter the sand. But by putting weight forward we are creating a few steep elements that need to be resolved with the shallowness of the early release. Keep these adjustments in mind when practicing bunkers and start getting those shots to come out nice and soft! #go

Some players only drop the club — and end up flipping at impact. Others drop just the hands — and still come over the top. But when hands and club fall together, naturally and on plane, that’s when the magic happens. The key? It’s not about forcing it. It’s about teaching your body to feel the right motion — over and over, until it becomes automatic. Start slow. Stand in front of a mirror. Keep your hips and shoulders in the backswing position — and just let your arms and hands drop down. It might feel exaggerated at first — but that’s exactly how your brain starts to build a new pattern. And when the pattern sticks,

Your margin of error is greatly reduced when you don’t use the bounce of the club. To help release the club better and utilize bounce, follow these 3 easy steps. 1️⃣ Straighten your trail arm at impact - this will present bounce to the ground, opposed to leading edge. 2️⃣ Point your club face back toward you in your finish - this will encourage rotation through the hitting area. 3️⃣ Get the butt end of the club as close to your lead pocket as possible - again, this will ensure a proper release through the hitting area. #golf #golfswing #golfaddict #golfpro #golflife #golflesson #golfstagram #golfpro
Fizzo Golf on Instagram: "Notes: 1)These are just feels to learn good motions. Practice thus slowly, make sure not to artificially point the finger where you want the clubface but rather use it as an indication of where the clubface is. 2)The thumb and index finger serve as sensory guides and support to prevent clubface twisting at impact, once comfortable with new feels you can begin to keep them gently on the club"
