I dont use sugar. 2 lbs ground beef 4 or 5 nice onions 1 head a garlic large Salt Black pepper Paprika Oregano Red pepper Cumin Tomato sauce or paste Water Butter Oil Flour Cook hamburger and onions with about half of the head of garlic and 2 or 3 tspns of salt. Cook the meat and onions until the onions are transparent and soft. Now add about 6 or 8 heaping tablespoons of Cumin, 2 tablespoons of paparika, 1 1/2 tablespoons of black pepper, 2 tsp of oregano, 1 tsp red pepper flakes, and add around 1 1/2 quarts a water. Let simmer about 20 minutes, taste for salt and cumin. If it is not salty enough add salt now. If it doesnt have a strong enough chili flavor, add more cumin and paprika now. Next add 1/4 to a 1/2 a cup of tomato sauce NOT KETCHUP, or 1/4 tomato paste. Next add the other half a head a garlic and 1/4 cup a butter or margarine and bring to a boil. Put about 5 big tablespoons of flour in a cup or bowl and mix it with vegetable oil until it is a runny paste, pour in the chili slowly as you stir. Thicken to desired thickness use for chili hot dogs nachos frito pies even a baked potato, AND NO SUGAR
