Niigata, Japan. • How to get there : We rode the shinkansen from Tokyo Station heading to Gala Yuzawa BUT get down at ECHIGO YUZAWA STATION (one station before gala yuzawa) it took around 1.5 hours. Very possible to make a day trip if you go from early morning. • Outfit and tools : You can rent it there, they have ski equipment and ski clothes. We don’t rent anything bcs we didn’t skiing, just wanna play on the snow. The weather actually not that cold.
