Train Station Themed Classroom Door
We created this train station themed door for a unit that helped the kids to “stay on track” while preparing for testing. The clock was made from two pieces of foamboard, printed clocks, and a hot knife. The top of the door was made from foamboard, a hot knife again, and a printed ticket sign. The foamboard was glued with just regular liquid glue. The ticket booth window was just made from gray posterboard cut in strips taped to the black door base. The wood strip across the center was a strip of wood grain contact paper. The railroad signs are just signs taped with clear packaging tape to wood bases. After the theme is over this can just be taken down and packaged up to get out for next year!
