BrazilFW is a mini Linux distribution designed to be used as a Firewall and Router that runs easily on older computers. An old PC running BrazilFW is much more powerful and efficient than commercial software for routing in offices and residences running on a "powerful" computer. BrazilFW is based on Coyote Linux, which was designed by Joshua Jackson who discontinued Coyote Linux in version 2.24 in August 2005. In that same month comes on the scene BrazilFW Firewall and Router (BFW) with version 2.24, which is led by "Claudio" and "Marcelo - Brazil", running only on floppy disks, and being 2.30.1 the last version with this support . The following versions, as well having automatic detection of network cards, only run on large capacity media, such as hard disk (HD). Versions in Development: * 2.33.x: Uses kernel 2.4.x and is developed by Marcinho Samurai. * 3.x: Uses kernel 4.x and is developed by WoshMan

CodeBlocks With A full development environment. Took a while but CodeBlocks is now upto speed and in sync with the current release version. New version of CodeBlocks supports XML based configuration, so users can do specialized compiler support if needed. Changed away from the old Msys in favor of Msys2 which has better support for a lot of things like miktex. Old package is still there if you still need it but wont be developed on anymore. Loads of modifications compared to the Msys2 package from Alex, you can still update Msys2 packages from his server though. MinGW64 packages have to many changes compared to Alex version so those will not upgrade but im working on creating my own package server. Current Msys2/MinGW64 gcc is now 6.2.0-4 and binutils 2.27. New packages will be uploaded shortly. Stay tuned for more changes.

m23 is a free software distribution system (license: GPL), that installs (via network, starting with partitioning and formatting) and administrates (updates, adds / removes software, adds / removes scripts) clients with Debian, (X/K)Ubuntu and LinuxMint. It is used for deployment of Linux clients in schools, institutions and enterprises. The m23 server is controlled via a web interface. A new m23 client can be installed easily in only three steps. Group functions and mass installation tools make managing a vast number of clients comfortable. The integration of existing clients (with .deb-based distributions) into the system is possible, too. Client backup and server backup are included to avoid data loss. With the integrated virtualisation software, m23 can create and manage virtual m23 clients, that run on real m23 clients or the m23 server. Scripts and software packages (for installation on clients) can be created directly from the m23 web interface.

This software allows us to create a relational database in PostgreSQL hosting full bacterial genomes. Besides the database, there is software, like a parser, to convert EMBL or GBK files to the CpDB relational schema. Once in the CpDB, one can extract unlimited reports from bacterial genomes using SQL. This software is part of the Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Anderson Santos (https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3418-0823) developed under the Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis (Cp) pangenome project. The Cp pangenome delivered to the scientific community fifteen bacterial strains deposited at the GenBank database between the years of 2009 and 2012. The thesis was written in Brazilian Portuguese. CpDB is the backbone for the Pannotator software: https://pannotator.facom.ufu.br. Both software still is alive and kicking. Enjoy it.
