When a file is deleted from a device the space for that file is merely de-allocated. In short: The DATA contained in that file still remains, and can be recovered. This can quickly become a security concern. There are various areas of business where this scenario is unacceptable: HIPAA Protected Medical Information, and Financial Data amongst them. Client Data must be protected from recovery in the event of theft. Blue-Pencil was created to fulfill that. "Blue-Pencil" protects sensitive data by "sanitizing" it - writing over it using special patterns designed to make data unrecoverable by traditional means before deletion thus keeping the data safe from prying eyes. -

The absence of large datasets of ‘with_mask’ images has made this task cumbersome and challenging. Our face mask detector doesn't use any morphed masked images dataset and the model is accurate. Owing to the use of MobileNetV2 architecture, it is computationally efficient, thus making it easier to deploy the model to embedded systems (Raspberry Pi, Google Coral, etc.). -

Factorial Hashing Function
My first attempt at a one-way hashing class/algoritm, built as a python class. It produces variable length hash from a message block of the size you want. The resulting hash will be ~2x the message block in size, and should provide for at least as many bits of security as the block itself. I updated this, with a different hash than original, since I found a potential collision on some blocks, not but specific to that challenge. To further correct this, I modified the padding when it's less than the block size. I hold no guarantee of the security of this algorithm, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I have had no 3rd party analysis done on the algorithm to date, but research is welcome, and a challenge is even provided in CHALLENGE.txt. -

The FoxNuke program is written in python and uses Firefox in order to complete the distributed denial of service attack feature. Multiple headers are used from the Firefox browser, along with a personal configuration option for the Opera browser. The FoxNuke Program is still underdevelopment as of 8/24/17, full release is set to come out sometime during 2017-2018.
