How does Acorny work?
Save highlights while you read, get a daily email digest with the cards due today, and quiz yourself with AI recall cards. Capture, resurface, recall — that is the loop.
Where can I save highlights from?
Use the browser extension to highlight any web page and sync your Kindle notebook, or import from Readwise, Kindle, WeRead, Cubox, Diigo, Moon+ Reader, and PDF files.
What are AI recall cards?
Acorny generates question-and-answer cards grounded in your highlights and notes, so you practice active recall instead of passive rereading. They are free during the public beta.
Is Acorny free?
Yes. Acorny is currently free during public beta. You can save unlimited highlights during the beta.
Will my saved highlights be locked if Acorny becomes paid later?
No. Highlights saved before pricing changes take effect stay accessible and reviewable. Future paid plans would only apply to new usage or advanced features, such as higher AI recall credits.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Export your highlights to Markdown, JSON, or CSV at any time, or sync continuously to Obsidian with the official plugin. Your highlights are yours.
Is my reading data private?
Your highlights are private to your account unless you choose to share them, and Acorny does not sell your reading data. The extension only works on pages where you actively use it — it is not designed to track or monetize your browsing history.
