Man, this is some flat out foul death doom metal. Crushingly heavy and intimidating. The whole album oozes a thick and murky atmosphere that will leave you feeling hypoxic and catatonic. Do what you can to brace yourself against this torrent of sludge and slime. 8/10

Absolute killer old school death metal release with a modern touch with its production. What I really like about this album is that it doesn't go out of its way to be super technical nor overly simplistic. It's got that got that late 80s vibe with how some of the riffs and solos are layered together, palm muted chugs with a flow of trills up and down the fretboard, or how some songs open with mid-paced double bass with 2/4 and 4/4 time signatures and drop down to heavy slower tempos.. 10/10
