A thorough repudiation of any claim that metal music is uniformly angry / negative. Bombastic synth prog with death growls, riffs, and clean flourishes. This record always makes me smile.

VOLA have a super approachable way of putting together djent and progressive music. Every song on this album is simply said just flat out excellent. Has the feeling of one of those releases you just subconsciously keep coming back to. My album of the year from 2021. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of their musical tastes. 9/10
