"This is a remake of the song Lenzing that appeared several years ago on the Allerseelen CD and DoLP Gotos=Kalanda. This release was named after a cycle of twelve poems dedicated to the twelve months, written in 1937 by the Austrian runes´ initiate Karl Maria Wiligut. As titles for the poems, he chose the old German names of the months. Lenzing is the month March. Lenzing is, like all Gotos=Kalanda songs, a hymn to God, light, love, nature, immortality. Wiligut was a monotheist and used the special writing Got - the usual German word would have been Gott. This remake contains several elements of the original song Lenzing, yet it changed substantially with the sensitive vocals of Anna Anfang, a singer and visionary who works from time to time with Allerseelen. The backing vocals are by Yvette who worked years ago with Gerhard Hallstatt on another version of the song Lenzing. Gotos=Kalanda was the first controversial release by Allerseelen after the early cassettes and the first CD Cruor with their occult and spiritual themes, inspired by alchemy, magic, mysticism, shamanism. The Gotos=Kalanda poems with their mystical and timeless quality are far away from politics, but were considered as controversial by some listeners and writers as they had been published in a small edition in the Iron Age of NS. Allerseelen also were not innocent in creating an esoteric as well as political connection with the use of the black sun of the German castle Wewelsburg on the cover and the CD itself. This connection was avoided when the DoLP Gotos=Kalanda appeared ten years later showing on the cover an enigmatic and adventurous opera singer with a black beard, wearing a black hat. As enigmatic and adventurous was the life of Karl Maria Wiligut - Gerhard Hallstatt wrote about him in his sold out magazine Aorta. This text is still available today in English and French in the book Gerhard Hallstatt: Blutleuchte. A new and much better researched version of this small biography appeared in German in the private print Sonnenwacht and in Compact Geschichte: Das okkulte Reich." (Gerhard Hallstatt 25.03.2025)
