n. janssen It's hard to put into words what is different from one Altarage albums to the next, and it's possible this one is my favorite simply because it was their first CD I picked up and have spun it the most or because this one has my favorite artwork. Regardless, this one and their most recent are their strongest works from my perspective. Total human annihilation. Favorite track: Werbuild.

Gremlin Monroe Fear and ruin, darkness and death Favorite track: Chaworos Sephelln.

Giles Massive, booming drums (the kick drum actually kicks!) and fuzzed-out walls of riffs. The sound world reminds me of Portal, but there's more of what you could call 'hooks' and great doomy/droney interludes. Overwhelmingly heavy!! Favorite track: Cyclopean Clash.
