about
This song is about a frightened girls hope that her perpetrator falls ill enough so he no longer has the strength to abuse her.
We wote this song because violence against women and girls is still a huge problem in the UK and around the world.
Too many women and girls are silencend by fear - hence why we released this track on International Women's Day.
We think men and boys should also be standing with us on this issue - their voices are needed.

Saw Kanga last night in Houston , instantly was entranced by her sound , sucked me into the Kangakult vortex , so glad I got to see her live , should have looked into her sooner as Gary Numan was so supportive of her on the Revolution tour , oh now it’s time to catch up and get further involved Callum Gray

The muscles throughout my hands and chest literally tensed the fuck up the first time that Ether pounded through my skull.
But then... Reality is Less Than TV. That one just gets stuck in my head, and stays there, and I don't mind at all.
Goddamn, this album is an experience. Joel

Chicago super band led by Dan Milligan have a timely new release while the rights of women to control medical decisions about their own bodies is called into question. Joy Thieves will be donating 100% of the money raised from the sale of the ‘6 To 3’ EP, and its accompanying line of exclusive t-shirts and hoodies to the National Network of Abortion Funds. We are always quick to point out when someone falls short, so I was happy to give credit when artists stand on the right side of history. preciousken
