TODAY THE MOON TOMORROW THE STARS...

My views on life are the following. Live it to the full, be free. Belinda Carlisle sang about it, Ginger Rogers danced for it. Live without deliberately hurting anyone. Try to think of others. These were all ideas planted in my mind at an early age. This week I am dealing with issues of life and death and despite trying to live in an optimistic way, it is tricky to be always in a great mood when people around you are suffering. If you can, then so much the better. It is better to become a parody of ourselves, that is why we become the private person and the public.
Today I am a Sunset Boulevard poster show, tomorrow?  Being positive is brave, being negative is cowardly.
Have a lovely time because we are only here for ten minutes.

SLASH DASH KANYE WEST

Kim Kardashian

Should Kanye West care what people are saying about his clothes, does it really matter? It's Los Angeles girls kit, a la his muse, Kim Kardashian, and my problem is the fur.  In such profusion and ostentation, is it a little too much?. In his position should he not be prudent?. I am not anti fur, I just wish to be tuneful of others sensibilities. If you eat meat you could answer that fur is acceptable?.  So with this in mind why pick rare species to work from.? Baby lambs ripped from the mother are not a good idea, and cruelty never attractive.  Perhaps more barbaric actions are found in an abattoir, but his collection seems over the top and out of its time.
I am very happy Kanye wants to achieve prominence in new areas.. His clothes are glamorous for the mountains and private jets,  but swathed in pink or beige fur won't get you many friends in this world of the Green party. His shapes were borrowed from Givenchy too. Oh well, next time he will know, and there will be a next time.  With the help he has behind the scenes, he will eventually kowtow.
At the opposite end of the scale Marni opened in HM stores this evening and I had a sneaky peak preview in the offices in Sunset. They have come up trumps.  The collection for women is very pretty, well cut and well made.  It is worth going and checking out.  Obviously not everything was for me, I live in black, but for those girls that chase colour, and love  bohemia, take a look.  It looks up market.  With leather tops, sequin collars and colourful dresses, you will be noticed.
It was a mad affair though, rather like Bloomingdales in the sale. Girls pushing grabbing taking everything they could from the rails. Compulsively buying without looking.  All the girls behind the desks tomorrow will be lucky to find a thing, such was the chaos and madness. It might be easier to buy online at HM.

IN THE BIBLE, Jeremiah says "SEARCH AND YOU WILL FIND"

Los Angeles like all cities is steeped with history from the early Twentieth Century, it has always been the
end of the road and the beginning of a journey.  I feel as if I am on the edge of the world where the stakes are so high, it spirals out of control.  There are so many pretty girls looking squabbling over  the best steak. I became totally curious. Of course that and the weather.
I am looking for something culturally interesting and this town is incredible.  Yes, when you arrive you feel there is only Sunset Boulevard, big highways, malls and Starbucks but remember there was Norma Desmond and Charlie Chaplin and now there is Spielberg starring with George Clooney. As a person I am constantly searching, I have no idea what for, I am not depressed and I am not high or drunk, but I am searching.  I like to stretch my talents to see if they can expand. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I do not, I care about neither, it is the "doing" that interests me.
Here people have a burning ambition and they are not going to be beaten, me too.
This town is full of physics, wizards, healers, hookers, musicians, yogies, technicians, cements mixers, plastic surgeons, beauticians, actors, fake teeth, bad face jobs, AA meetings, lean bodies and tits.
All are looking and some succeed and some do not.  I love it, the trashy shops, fake hidden celebrity, and tattoo artists.
Last night I went to an AA meeting again. I was asked when I last drank.  I said I can count the number of times I have ever drunk in my life, I can also name the times I have taken any form of pharmaceutical drug.  I was given slimming pills when I was twelve by an overweight doctor who I persuaded to give them to me secretly. I was on and off them for years.  Luckily I find it easy to stop, I just stop.   There are however other areas that I find really tricky to deal with, and these meetings are the best to remind you feel that life is good. Plus I support some pals.

I am enjoying playing the game.

Day three of the diet with Kahja spa and I have now lost one kilo.  From 141.2 pounds to 139.6 pounds I am on my way to my usual weight of 133. Let's pray I get there. I am off to organise a tattoo this morning and can't wait.
