I take GenAI from flashy demo to production reality — 10+ LLM systems shipped on AWS infrastructure that is HIPAA‑compliant, cost‑optimized, and built to scale.
For ten years I've lived where two hard problems meet: cloud infrastructure that has to stay up, and AI systems that have to be real. As Solution Architect at Leapfrog Technology, I led the push that earned AWS Agentic AI, GenAI, and DevOps Competencies and APN Advanced Partner status, then backed it up by shipping more than ten LLM systems into production, most of them in regulated healthcare.
Before that: engineering manager, principal engineer, blockchain researcher, search engineer. I've built deployment platforms from scratch, scaled a compiler service to 150K concurrent users, and rebuilt decade-old systems without dropping traffic.
Outside work I write about AI-assisted development, ship apps I want to exist, and once built a watch with an LLM as co-creator. Curiosity is the through-line.
