    Use sparingly. It can get very dark, very quickly. I always start with a small amount on a toothpick and then judge from there. If you get it too dark, it is very hard to "water it down" using more frosting. You might as well start over with a new batch.

    Wilton colors have always been good whenever I have used them and this color is no exception. From pale lavenders to deep, rich purples, this color will do you right. And if you want a little more violet, you can add a bit of red, or a lot of red for a brilliant magenta.
