To tall and won’t let you return!! Please read my updates
My mom passed away so I have been trying to make all of the goodie’s she made. I tried making her fudge but it turned out awful. So I bought this candy thermometer so I can have the right temperature. Thinking that might be the problem. This thing is so tall it couldn’t clip to any of my pots. As you can see even with my big pot it will not work. I still don’t know if it was the temperature that was my problem.And I don’t use that big pot for making candy. Unless you are using a big stock pot it won’t work. I have tried to return it so I can find one that will work for me. But even though it is Prime it won’t let me return it. This is crap 💩 I guess I will just throw it away or find some one that uses a really tall pot to make their candy. I gave up on the fudge and cried because I don’t think I can ever be as good as my mom.Update…. I contacted customer service with Amazon and they were great. They issued me a full refund!! I didn’t even have to send the thermometer back. I still can’t use it because it is to tall. I will have to find some one that I can give it to. At least I can look for a different style of one that will work for me.Thank you Amazon customer service!!! 🤗🤗

I bought this for my wife who likes baking and deep frying. She found that most recipes didn't work even though she was using the right temperature according to this thermometer. She suspected that it was not displaying the right temperature. I tested it with boiling water, which should be 100C - the thermometer never got over 66C.
