Well, I'd misplaced a few pieces and others were just not as sharp/clean as they used to be so...this set gives me a few replacement pieces I needed and some extras that are nice to have (in case I misplace another tool which is not beyond comprehension!). I will definitely put them away in the nice zip lock style plastic bag they came in and I do have a hook it can hang on, so hopefully they will stay together longer than my last set! Nice, basic weeding set if you need one.

Unfortunately, my original tools that came with my very first Cricut machine are showing their wear. I was going to just get a replacement set of the tool set that I had, however, I saw this pop up. I have seen more and more Teckwrap crafts pop up on my Instagram feed. So, I figured I could give it a try!

The tools themselves are the same as the ones you get in the basic Cricut kit. The one difference, albeit small, is that the tools are a little more ergonomic. There are three indents on both sides of the tools which makes it easier to grip and hold onto them (minus, of course, the scraper, tweezers, and scissors). Again, it's a very small difference but one I quite like. I think these will replace my current ones as favorites. The quality is good, they don't feel any less durable than the ones I have already. I'm starting to become a TeckWrap fan!

Theyre all very very similar to the actual cricut tools. Slight differences in the ends, like the tweezers don't open as wide, spatulas has less angles, but over all, look and work just as well.

The plastic and just the overall feel is a lot cheaper feeling, but they seem just as sturdy. You also get a straight stabbing tool which cricut don't offer.

Cricut set is going for 27 quid at hobby craft at the mo, picked this one up for 13.90. So a bargain, plus it comes in a little storage bag.

what i liked about this kit was it has everything you nedd for all the weeding you need to do it has 2 picks one straight and one angled a pair of scissors (sharp) a lifting spatula , tweezers and a solid plastic squeegee for pressing down to remove air bubbles. The picks are pointed really well and also sharp so beware and the tweezers have a good strong spring to them so will hold very well for this price i would reccomend but would probably have better protection on the picks as the scissors do.

A brand that I know well and purchase a lot of Vinyl from & consider to be of good quality & therefore was really pleased to review this craft weeding set from Teckwrap.
When I purchased my Cricut Maker a few years ago I purchased the identical (Cricut) set, and it was double the price back then vs what this is going for.

So what you get here is much the same with a few slight differences – it comes with a nice storage bag (which unfortunately mine was damaged and the opening was stuck so I had to cut the bag to open it so damaged it for storage – that being said I would never have stored the tools in the bag as I have a unit that holds all my weeding tools for quick and easy access, so for me it was fine but it is a nice addition if you were to store your tools in the bag.

The scissors in this set are way better than the Cricut brand – they aren’t stiff for one and for two they are very comfortable and sharp to cut with (small snipping scissors).
The rest of the tools are much the same with the inclusion of the straight size weeding pick which is very handy for intricate cuts and pulling away excess Vinyl and is sharp just like the hook weeding tool.
There is also the scraper, spatula and tweezers. (i don't get on with this style of tweezers though).

The grip on all the tools is wide and comfortable to use.
A great little set that I would recommend :)

The main thing I wanted this set for was to help get the words and other stickers off the sheets and onto my cards without them bending over and sticking to themselves and this works very well for that purpose. It hasn't improved my ability to get them straight, but that's another story, lol.

I found the spatula and scraper to be really effective at removing nano tape from plastic that was in the wrong place, but I did have to be gentle as the spatula is quite bendy, and I didn't want to break it. I think it's sturdy enough for most card-making purposes, but I won't use it too often for removing nano tape. It did make it a lot easier than trying to pick it off with my fingers, though.

I think that this set is really handy for any crafter, and the current price of £13.90 isn't too bad. All the items come packaged in a zip lock bag, so you could give it as a gift, but it isn't nicely boxed and there aren't any instructions with it, so, personally, I wouldn't give it as a gift.
