Super stoked their finally pushing the DVDS sure streaming and digital is nice but there is STILL a huge market for physical still specially for those whom where there at the start till now and had all the first few seasons on dvd and wanting to complete what we started. However wish it was not taking so long, but that’s what happens when they sailed the dvd market was dying when it wasn’t. Now their far behind! And for those who say dvds are dying. If that were true they would have halted production once Blu ray surfaced! But they haven’t. Even when 4k came! Still all three being produced! They found they can cater to different budgets by making them available in many formats! Plus not at the mercy of streaming services!

    It's been years since Fox released any Simpsons on DVD and we finally get the next volume from them. I got it and watched it in one binge worthy evening and now am sad cause I want more. Hopefully this does well and soon we'll get season 19. Are all the episodes winners? No. But they are still charming and still fun to watch and enjoy and realize there is a reason it has been going for 30 years.

    Now we finally have all 20 seasons on disc, though it would've been even better if it were on bluray instead of DVD, but I would take what I can.

    Hopefully with more disc release to come for the subsequent seasons 21 to 31, and also they should fix season 20 with extras since the first barebone release had none. Not sure how Disney buying fox would affect this though..

    Endlich nach Jahren wieder auf DVD erhältlich.
    Nun kann jeder Fan seine Sammlung von Staffel 1 bis 20 vervollständigen.
    Zum Inhalt möchte ich keinen Spoiler wiedergeben.
    Zur Aufmachung der Box: Leichter Karton, der über Abteilungen zum Unterbringen der DVDs verfügt.
    Die Zeichnungen sehen aus, als stammten sie aus den Anfängen der Serie oder wären von Kindern gezeichnet.
    Vielleicht soll hier eine gewisse Nostalgie erzeugt werden.
    Ein kleines Booklet ist dabei, das ein paar Infos über die einzelnen Folgen gibt, ganz nett.
    Sprachen sind auf Deutsch und Englisch verfügbar.

    Leider fehlen Fans die Staffeln 21 bis 31, die es noch nicht zum Kaufen gibt.
    Ob das jemals der Fall sein wird, bleibt auch abzuwarten.
    Vom Design kann man sagen, dass die früheren Boxen mehr Vielfalt geboten haben.
    Einige Staffeln waren als Collector's Edition erhältlich. Das Design war echt cool und bestand aus dem Plastikkopf der jeweiligen Hauptfiguren (ab Season 6). Später wurde dann das Gesicht der Figur als 3D Plastik auf festem Karton angebracht, was auch einen tollen Effekt gab. Zudem waren diese Boxen mit einer extra Schutzhülle versehen und boten neben Booklet auch manche Extras.

    Ich freue mich trotzdem, dass es die Simpsons wieder zu kaufen gibt und hoffe sehr, dass das auch so bleibt.

    jetzt habe ich endlich die ersten 20 Staffeln im Regal.
    Die 20 Staffeln schauen mein Sohn und ich rauf und runter, wie wir wollen.

    Hoffentlich werden weitere Staffeln Veröffentlicht. Das ist die Serie, die ich komplett haben möchte.

    Übrigens, Alf hab ich komplett, puls Film, aber der Film war nicht gut.
