COPENHAGUE ESCONDIDO

Hace un par de años estuvimos en Copenhague y de recuerdo me traje un ovillo multicolor con el que pensaba hacerme un chal. Cuando acabé el jersey negro de mi hija, cambié de opinión y decidí usar las dos lanas juntas para hacer otro jersey porque creo que le daré más uso que a otro chal. Le he puesto de nombre "Copenhague escondido" porque me costó mucho trabajo encontrar la tienda. Tenía la dirección y pasé tres veces por delante hasta que la vi. Resulta que estaba en un semisótano y delante siempre había mucha gente porque es una plaza muy concurrida y a eso hay que añadirle mi dosis de despiste para entender la situación.

Espero que os guste. A mi me encanta. Estoy deseando de que llegue el otoño para ponérmelo.

We were in Copenhagen a couple of years ago and I bought a multicolour skein as a souvenir. I thought knitting a shawl. When I finished my daughter's black jersey I changed my mind and I decided to use both wools to knit another sweater. I think that I'll use it more than a shawl. I've named it 'Hidden Copenhagen' because it was very difficult to find the shop. I had the address and I was there three times until I watched it. The shop was in a semi-basement and in front of it there was many people because it is a crowed square, and you have to add that I'm pretty absent-minded to understand the situation.

I hope you like it. I love it. I'm looking forward to wearing it next autumn.

TERMINADO AL FIN

Como se suele decir "a la tercera va la vencida". Tres veces he empezado este jersey. He tardado casi tres meses en tejer algo tan sencillo como esto. La primera vez lo deshice porque el punto no era apropiado, la segunda porque no calculé bien los puntos y era demasiado grande, la tercera fue la definitiva. De todas formas aún tengo un par de meses para poder usarlo este año.

As it is said "the third time is the charm". I started this jersey three times. I've needed almost three months to finish something so easy like this. First time I undid it because the pattern wasn't appropriate, second time I undid it because I was knitting it too much huge, and the third time was the definitive. In any case, I have a couple of month left to wear it this year.

CONJUNTO DE BEBÉ

En la reunión del mes pasado compré dos ovillos de bebé con la intención de hacer un par de jerseys, pero cuando llegué a casa me di cuenta de que con 1 ovillo no tendría suficiente. Así que decidí combinar los dos y hacer un jersey y unos patucos haciendo seis vueltas con cada color.

Los zapatos han quedado muy diferentes pero me gusta así.

Last month, in the meeting, I bought two baby yarn balls to make a pair of sweaters,but when I arrived at home I realized that one ball wasn't enough. So I decided mixing both ones to knit a sweater and a pair of boots.

The boots look very diffeterent but I like in this way.

 Con un lazo en el canesú. 

With a ribbon in the yuke.

 Y botones en la espalda.

And buttons in the  back.

Me apetece seguir haciendo cosas para bebés porque hace mucho que no las tejía.

Así que el sábado me compré otro ovillo para hacer un abrigo.

I want to keep doing things for babies because I haven't knitted them for a long time.

So on Saturday I bought another ball to make a baby coat.

JERSEY DE RAYAS PARA MÓNICA

Éste es para la hermana mayor de Marta. Lo he tejido aprovechando un par de ovillos blancos que me sobraron de un jersey que me hice hace unos años y los tres ovillos que me regaló mi amiga invisible de 2017 del grupo de "el desván". El cuello es igual.

This is for Marta's older sister. I´ve knitted it with a couple of white balls that I didnít use with a sweater of mine and the three lilac balls that my invisible friend of the "el desván group" gave me in 2017. The collar is the same.

SE HIZO DE ROGAR

Por fin he acabo el jersey azul que me ha acompañado en las últimas reuniones.
Y es que he estado tan atareada que apenas lo tejía entre reunión y reunión.
La espera ha merecido la pena porque en mi opinión ha quedado casi perfecto.
Aproveché la lana que me sobró del jersey de JF y un ovillo más que compré hace unos meses.
Ahora a esperar 4 ó 5 meses en el armario hasta que "llegue el invierno ;)

At last I've finished my blue sweater that I pick it up in the three or four meetings.
I've been so bussy that I've rather knitted between meeting and meeting.
The wait was worth because it has been almost perfect.
I've knitted with the rest of JF's sweater and one more ball.
Now it will be waiting 4 or 5 month in the closet until "winter comes" ;)

POCOS AVANCES

Así sigue mi jersey azul y es que apenas estoy tejiendo en los dos últimos meses. 

Creo que cuando esté terminado va a ser muy favorecedor.

 Así se quedó al acabar la última reunión y así sigue.

La manta climática la llevo a mitad de abril.

Here is my blue sweater. I've hardly knitted last two months.

 I think it will be nice we it will be finised. 

I finished a side in the last meeting and it is knitted the same now.

The climate blanket is in the middle of April.

TURQUESA Y ROSA

Anoche acabé el jersey y como viene siendo habitual en mí no he tardado en estrenar el conjunto.

La idea original era hacer la parte listada igual en el delantero que en la espalda, pero me di cuenta de que no iba a tener suficiente hilo rosa así que cambié sobre la marcha. Tengo que reconocer que así también ha quedado bonito. Además como es algodón 100% es muy fresco. 

Last night I finished jersey and, as usual in me, I have been quick to brand the whole. The original idea was to do the same part listed in the front than in the back, but I realized that was not going to have enough pink thread so I switched on the fly. I have to admit that this has also been nice . Furthermore, as it is 100 % cotton it is very cool .

La idea de combinar turquesa con rosa la tome prestada de la Señora Allnut. Hace un tiempo que descubrí su blog y creo que es fantástica combinando colores.

La falda comodísima lo único malo que se arruga mucho al ser 100% algodón también. Pero es lo mejor para vestir con estos calores.

Ya solo me falta la foto con mis sobrinas.

Mi hija no ha querido porque dice que es muy infantil. Aunque se puede poner la mía si algún día le apetece ahora que tenemos el mismo contorno de cintura. El año que viene que habrá pasado definitivamente de niña a mujer le estará grandisima.

The skirt is very comfortable, the only bad thing is much wrinkle to be 100 % cotton as well. But it is best to wear with this heat . Now I only need a picture with my nieces . My daughter did not want to because he says is very childish . Although you can put mine if one day you feel like now we have the same waistline. Next year when she'll became in a young girl the skirt will be very big for her.

MÁS BOMBONES

De nuevo he comprado esta calidad que hace años está descatalogada. Es de una calidad muy buena y además muy económica (1,10 €/ovillo). Esta vez es para hacer un jersey a mi hija. La semana pasada, buscando inspiración para el jersey rosa y turquesa que estoy haciendo ahora, estuve hojeando antiguas revistas y me encontré con un modelo que me gustó mucho para tejérselo a mi hija. El miércoles me acerqué con ella para que eligiera los ovillos que le gustaban y son los que eligió. Como acabo de empezar las vacaciones espero tener listos los dos jerseys la semana que viene.

I bought this quality again. It is a very good quality and also very economical (1.10 € / ball ) . This time is to make a sweater for my daughter. Last week , seeking inspiration for the pink and turqouise jersey I'm doing now , I was leafing through old magazines and came across a model that I liked to knit for her. On Wednesday I went with IC to choose the balls that she liked and choose this. As I just started the holidays I hope to have ready the two jerseys next week .

NUEVOS HILOS

Tengo el punto un poco abandonado porque me he impuesto acabar con varios trabajos de ganchillo, punto de cruz y costura que tengo a medio. Y la verdad que tengo ganas de coger las agujas largas otra vez. Así que me he comprado estos ovillos para hacerme un jersey de tirantes. Mi idea era hacerlo solo de color rosa, pero no quedaba suficiente hilo. Así que pensé que combinarlo con el azul también está bien. Tejeré la parte de abajo en elástico 2 x 2 haciendo rayas finas de los dos colores. El cuerpo en un punto calado sencillo de color rosa y lo remataré con ganchillo en azul. ¿Qué os parece? Yo creo que va a quedar muy bien para combinarlo con mi última falda.

I have a little abandoned the knit because I'm ending several jobs of crochet , cross stitch and sewing. And the truth is  that I want to take the long needles again. So I bought these cottong skeins to become a tank top.  My idea was to do only pink , but there was not enough thread. So I thought to combine it with the blue is also good. I 'll weave the bottom elastic 2 x 2 by thin stripes of two colors. The body in a simple lace knit and the blue to the armholes neckline in crochet. What do you think? I think it will be great to combine with my last skirt.
