A downloadable game for Windows and Android
In this short but intense VR experience, you can see only through the dying smartphone in your hand. Masked government pig thugs have come to your neighborhood. Before your phone battery dies, record what really happened. Counter the lies and propaganda that will soon come.

Trigger Warning: This game reflects and simulates recent events with the ICE abductions and protests. Although the characters are cute stylized anthropomorphic animals, the experience uses real-world audio from encounters (screaming/whistles) and places the player in a scene of realistic chaos.
Global Game Jam 2026: Made in ~36 hours for Global Game Jam 2026. Theme: Mask. I interpreted the theme as the masked government thugs, and masking out everything outside the smartphone screen. I was very disturbed by news events happening the past week with the murder of Alex Pretti, Renee Good, and the brutality and lawlessness of ICE randomly attacking people on the street, so I had to make this game that is inspired by the courage of community witnesses recording what really happened. Install instructions
For the Meta Quest 3 build, upload to your Quest 3 using SideQuest and USB-C cable. Open the library, go to Unknown Sources, and run WithOurOwnEyes.
For the Windows desktop build, extract the zip to a folder. Start SteamVR or Meta Horizon Link, and make sure it is the default OpenXR Runtime ion the settings for SteamVR or Link. Then run WithOurOwnEyes.exe. Windows will pop a security thing up because this doesn't come from the Windows store. select "Run Anyway".
