about
Oceans of Fire is the first offering from Andracca's upcoming album set to be released by Vendetta Records, "To Bare the Weight of Death", which contends with the strain of grief and an eventual reconciliation with Death. Taken from the midpoint of the album, this track represents the end of the fall into despair, and the beginnings of a journey to unapologetically seize one's life for themselves with a refined understanding of their own mortality, forsaking comfort in favour of fulfilling Will.
Featuring footage captured by GoldMoldRecords at a live performance in Glasgow in August of 2023, and additional footage from the shores on which much peace was found at times of grief, shot by Blackfire Productions.
Video production also by Blackfire Productions

If the band's ambition was "just to" reproduce old melodic BM classics like Dissection and early Emperor, I'd say it is a grand success, shit even the cover art reminds me of the "Storm" album... However, I wish this album had a bit more personality to it. These guys are from the U.K., after all. The first half is majestic, the second half a bit less. Still it's a very enjoyable melodic BM album. sashavonkarl74
Blood Countess are the sort of hellish, lo-fi BM I'd usually avoid. The second-wave Norwegian sound has never been a favourite, despite it's DNA running in every BM band since. But Blood Countess are something different. They're spunky and confronting. They write catchy, seductive songs that draw as much from the spirit of punk as they do Mayhem. Live, they're a youthful and irrepressible force. The C**tess is the best front person I've seen for a long time. J jcridford
