Time For Tea - Christmas Pud

Happy Saturday to all of you.  I hope you're managing to stay warm :)  There's not much time left till Christmas and I'm trying to get a few more holiday cards completed.

This sweet girl is a Time For Tea Designs image by Jo Davies.  She's called Christmas Pud and you can find her in Jo's Etsy shop here.  Of course I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  I used some Glamour Dust on her hat and Liquid Applique for the textured "fur".  I also used the Liquid Applique for the icing on the pudding.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

Sugar Nellie's Return To Winter Wonderland

Happy Saturday friends!  So, have you stopped by the Sugar Nellie Blog to see the beautiful new images in our Return To Winter Wonderland?  Aren't they gorgeous?  I think Karen always does such a fabulous job finding the prettiest fairies for her shop!

Today I have used More Hands Make Light Work.  I colored her with copics and added some shading with my colored pencils.  Of course I had to add lots of Glamour Dust to her wings, jinglebells, and snowflake wand.  Every fairy needs to have lots of sparkle, right?  I also added a bow, poinsettia, and some snowflakes with pearls.  You can find all my card details below.  Please remember to leave comments so you'll have a chance at winning some lovely candy :)  These new images are all available over at Funky Kits.

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Mistletoe

Hello and happy Thursday to all of you.  This morning I'm sharing a Sugar Nellie card I made using  one of my older stamps.  You know, sometimes we just need to get those older images out and show them some inky love too, right?

This adorable image is called Mistletoe ... aren't they just the cutest?  I think this image is so perfect for a couple, young or old, that are celebrating their first Christmas together :)  I colored this image with copics and then added some shading with my colored pencils.  My papers are by Bo Bunny and I cut the layered snowflake from glittery paper and added a pearl to the center.  The sentiment is from an older Stampavie set of sentiments that I've had for a few years.  A very CAS card that can be easily mailed without paying a fortune in postage - perfect!  You can find this sweet image over at Funky Kits.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

With Love At Christmas

Hello sweet friends.  I have one more Christmas card to share and then I think I will be done with Christmas cards for a little while.

This sweet image is Manga Girl #2 and she is from the Home Grown Manga collection at Funky Kits.  I used my copics and colored pencils to color her and then used my black glaze pen on her buttons.  A sheer bow with a little charm and a snowflake are the embellishments I added.  My papers are some old ones from Basic Grey.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Mistletoe Fairy

I've really been trying to work ahead on my holiday cards this year.  So I'm back with another Christmas card to share with you.

This sweet little fairy is Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy by Bugaboo Digi Stamps.  I love the Bugaboo images and I think this fairy is so cute.  She's colored with copics and colored pencils, and then I used Glossy Accents on the holly berries.  I applied Creative Inspirations' Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter on her wings for a beautiful sparkle.  I added a bow, flower, and some pearls and my card was finished.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Hugs, Anita

Christmas Puppies

I hope you're having a wonderful day today.  I have another Stampavie card to share with you today.  This one is called 'Christmas Puppies' and I just love this image.  These little puppies look like they're all ready for Christmas...probably hoping Santa left them some yummy treats in their stockings!

I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used my white gel pen to add some polka dots to their stockings.  I added some Glamour Dust to my image to make it sparkle.  I just bought this new Sizzix Embosslit Die the other day at my LSS, Simply Scrapbooks so I used it to make this pretty snowflake.  I brayered VersaMagic ink onto the snowflake and added some clear embossing powder and heat set it.

Are you all ready for Christmas?  Well, I'm not...I've still got a very long list of things I need to finish before Christmas gets here.

I Wish

Hi all!  I have another card that I made for my local stamp/scrapbook store.  This image is called I Wish and it's another Stampavie image.  I think this image is so sweet.

I embossed my cardstock with the "Grace's Frame" Cuttlebug embossing folder and then stamped this sweet little girl.  I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and used white acrylic paint to add the polka dots on the bows.  I added a touch of glitter to her nightgown and the stockings.  To finish my card I added some white pearls and a little pink bow.

A Star

Happy Saturday!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for my LSS, Simply Scrapbooks.

My image is Bright As A Star by Stampavie.  I just love this little bear and he was so much fun to color.  The new Stampavie Christmas stamps are so adorable and I bought several.  I hope I have time to get them all inked and colored before Christmas.  Yeah right...I have Christmas stamps from last year that still haven't seen ink lol!

I colored my image with copics and Prismacolor pencils and added Glamour Dust to his hat and the star. I stitched around my papers and added some ribbon and a bow.  I paper-pieced the gift box he's sitting on, and cut out and popped up the little gift box with the bow.  I also added some glitter to the little gift bow.  My little punched snowflake is also covered with Glamour Dust.  So, there's one more Christmas card to add to my stack!

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Rosie Rabbit

Happy Saturday everyone!  I hope you're all having a wonderful day doing whatever it is you enjoy doing :)  I finally found a little time to play with my stamps and paper today...woohoo!  The image I've used on my card today is Stampavie's Rosie Rabbit.

I really love Stampavie's stamps...their images are cute and adorable and they also stamp very nicely.  Anyway, I colored my image with distress inks and watercolors.  I used a glaze pen on the ladybug and Rosie's eyes and nose, and spinkled some glitter on the rose.  I used my Nestabilities to cut out my image and then traced and hand-cut my mat.  I used my Martha Stewart daisy edge punch to punch a row of daisies on my grey cardstock and then just used my scissors to cut one of the daisies off the strip for the corner of my card.  If you've never used your edge punches in this way, give it a try.  It's so easy and you can make really pretty corner "embellishments" for your cards...and you get more use out of those MS punches!  My butterflies were punched with the MS butterfly punch and I added some little pearls to make them sparkle.  I used some floss to tie a bow through my button.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy Halloween!

I hope you're having a beautiful day today.  We are definitely having fall weather and right now it's gloomy with a light rain - yuck!  This is my first Halloween card of the season.  I LOVE Halloween.  Halloween is my daughter's birthday.  She's grown now but I still love decorating for Halloween.  My friend, Dolly, doesn't much like Halloween.  So Dolly, you may not want to look at this card lol!  I apologize for the picture not being the greatest but since it's dark and dreary, this is the best I could get.

I used Stampavie's "Cat in Pumpkin Costume".  I think this cat is so cute.  I colored her (I decided it's a she cat) with my prismacolors and gamsol and added a little glaze and stickles.  I used my Martha Stewart spiderweb punch and added some buttons and pearls.  This paper is from my stash that I've had forever and I have no idea who made it.

Just Cute Bears

This week over at Just Cute Bears the challenge is "Punch It".  This is my first project as a member of their Design Team.  For my card, I chose Butterfly Bear from Stampavie.

I colored my sweet little bear and butterfly with prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  I added some glaze to his eyes and nose and sprinkled Glamour Dust on the butterfly.  I used my EK Success paw print punch for my border.  I love my paw print punch.  My friend Dolly is the one who showed me this punch when it came into our LSS (Simply Scrapbooks) and of course I had to buy it.  Dolly shows me lots of things that I end up buying.  I think Dolly is a bad influence on me, don't you?  (You know I'm kidding, Dolly!)  I used Martha Stewart punches for my butterfly and leaves.  My flowers are by Prima and my sentiment is by Hero Arts.

For more inspiration, check out the fantastic cards the other DT members have created over at the Just Cute Bears Challenge.  Thanks for stopping by!

Two Cute Bunnies

Aren't these bunnies just the cutest?  This is a Stampavie stamp by Penny Johnson.  I've had this image inked for months and finally found the time to color it today.  I decided to enter Stampavie's current challenge, which is a sketch.  I love playing along in sketch challenges.  I sometimes have a hard time coming up with a layout that I like, so sketch challenges make it much easier for me.

I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol, and added liquid applique to their little bunny tales.  I stitched my papers together and added some punched flowers and leaves.  My flowers looked rather plain so I added some pearls to the centers to give them a little sparkle.  I punched my tag with a Martha Stewart punch and stamped it with PTI Mixed Messages.  I'm using SEI's Chick A Doo papers.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
