Hello From The Boo Crew

Hello crafty friends!  I'm sharing a clean and simple Halloween card featuring a stamp by Whipper Snapper Designs!

The adorable stamp is Peek-a-boo Ghost.  I've had this stamp forever!  In fact, this stamp is so old it's actually a wood block stamp.  Can you believe it?  I still have quite a few wood block stamps in my stash and lots of them are by Whipper Snapper Designs.

I stamped the image on Neenah card stock and colored it with copics and colored pencils.  I stamped the bats and sentiment from a Hello Bluebird stamp set that I have in my stash.  The striped paper is by Doodlebug Design.

Copics:

Ghost - BV20; BG70; R20, R00

Pumpkin - YR18, YR14, YR12, Y15; YR27, YR21; E44, E43; YG17, YG03, YG01

Sign - E44, E43, E42

Cat - C3, C1, C0; R20; E01, E00, E000

Grass - YG17, YG03, YG01

Prismacolor Pencils:

PC1065 - Cool Grey 70%

PC1008 - Parma Violet

PC908 - Dark Green

PC911 - Olive Green

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Sweet Holiday Greetings

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a clean and simple Christmas card featuring some adorable snowmen by Whipper Snapper Designs!

I've had this cute stamp for years and this is the first time I've ever inked it up.  I've really been trying to pull out some of my older never-used stamps and create with them!  I cut a piece of bristol card and inked it with Peacock Feathers, Prize Ribbon, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Inks.  I splattered it with thinned white gouache and adhered it to my card front.

I colored the snowmen with copics and then applied Nuvo Crystal Glaze to their noses and buttons.  I fussy-cut the snowmen and then used a white gel pen to add some highlights.  I adhered the snowmen with foam tape and added some die cut snowflakes.  The sentiment is from a stamp set in my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a fantastic day!

Hugs, Anita

The Challenge #81 - Color Inspiration

Good morning!  I hope you have a fun weekend planned!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for our new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a color challenge.  I hope you find some time to play along!

I used a chubby snowman called Playful Snowman from Whipper Snapper Designs.  I stamped the snowman on Neenah cardstock and then diecut him using a stitched rectangle die.  I sponged distress ink on the background and colored the snowman with copics.  I added a snowflake with a little pearl and that finished off my card.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the great projects by the rest of the DT!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

The Challenge #60 - Color Challenge

Good morning!  I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a sweet Valentines Day!  Today I'm sharing a card I made for the new challenge over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Each week we have a different type of challenge and this week it's a color challenge.  I hope you find some time to play along with us!

I used a cute Whipper Snapper stamp for my card today.  I've had this sweet image forever but this is the first time I've inked it up.  I've got so many stamps that I've never used but yet I keep buying more ... I know I'm not the only one guilty of this, right?  Anyway, I colored this cutie with copics and applied Glossy Accents to his nose.  I used my Stitched Rectangle Dies from Your Next Stamp to cut my papers and then added a few enamel dots to finish my card.  The sentiment is from a My Favorite Things stamp set.

The Challenge #42 - Stay Cozy

( ** Please scroll down for my SugarPea Designs post ** )

We have a new challenge today over at Always Playing With Paper's The Challenge.  Our challenge this week is a color challenge.

These are such beautiful colors but I really struggled with these colors until I remembered an older Christmas paper pad I bought a couple of years ago.  As soon as I found my paper I knew I wanted to make a snowman card.  I've had this adorable stamp from Whipper Snapper forever and had never inked it up.  I have so many stamps that have never been inked ... why do I keep buying more?  It's an addiction, isn't it lol?  Anyway, I colored the image with copics and then fussy cut it.  I added a snowbank and a glittery snowflake with a gem.  I also added some Glamour Dust on the snowmen to give them a frosty look.

Be sure to stop by The Challenge to see the gorgeous projects by the rest of the DT!  I hope you find some time to get inky and play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a wonderful week!

Hugs, Anita

A Little Beebug

Hello crafty friends.  I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  It's been a few days since I shared a new card but I do have one to show you today.

This cute little image is called Beebug and you can find him over at Whipper Snapper Designs. If you're not familiar with their stamps you should stop by and check them out ... they have some of the most adorable images ;)  Anyway, this little sweetie is colored with copics and colored pencils.  I added some Star Dust Stickles to his wings and the flower.  Then I used Glossy Accents on his nose, antennae, and the ladybug.  This was such a fast and easy card to color and assemble.  I used the latest sketch over at The Deconstructed Sketch.  I always love their sketches but usually don't seem to find the time to play along.  If you're ever in need of a layout, it's the perfect place to find some great designs.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Little Robbie

Happy Monday to all of you.  Today I have a card with a Whipper Snapper image.  I absolutely love Whipper Snapper stamps...they are so adorable.  I bought this cute little stamp last year and I'm just now getting around to making it into a card.  Yes, I am sooo slow lol!

I colored my image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  My papers are BoBunny (from last year).  I am almost out of this dp and I wish I could find more...it's one of my favorite Christmas papers.  I love the color combo and the big snowflakes and polka-dots.  I used my Martha Stewart doily lace punch and added some ribbon and a glittered snowflake.  I applied stickles on the snow, greenery, and the berries.  My sentiment is from PTI.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
