Dans ce style, "stoner" prog/psychédélique, Je nomme King Buffalo ex-aequo avec Hypnos 69, un groupe que j'apprécie énormément (en plus mélo et moins groovy). Ce n'est pas un maigre compliment lancé à la hâte. Leur musique a acquis une patte et du panache; il suffit d'écouter les premiers albums pour mesurer l'évolution.

The first release I heard from Sergeant Thunderhoof that almost didn't even catch my interest the first time around, but I'm so glad I came back. Their style is just perfect for what I want from stoner/psych, a perfect blend of sounds that come together with a magnitude greater than the components themselves, hitting emotional depths as they should.

As has happened many times now, YouTube Music's algorithm introduced me to something that would earn a place in my collection! If I'd just looked at the genre description and the band title, honestly, I would have never given this album a listen. Just didn't seem like anything I'd like. Boy, has my mind been changed!

This is possibly the greatest concept album ever made. The fellas have really outdone themselves. This could be the peak, the very top of the bell curve in regards to both the genre and to metal as a whole. What can you say about what need not be elaborated on? Its perfect.
