Something went wrong message at Confirm PIN

Update 2 weeks after my original review: the app is working now. I was able to use my EVgo credits too. Original review: Very poor quality app. It took 4 calls to acura support to get the app to connect to my car. It showed battery percentage and miles range and ev credit. Then 2 weeks later again the app is disconnected from my car and after 3 calls to acura ev and onstar (Finish activation message has the onstar logo and acura staff also told me to contact onstar), the same error “Something went wrong…”

Acura doesn’t care

By reading everyone’s complaints is obvious this app does not perform as it should. When looking at other EV app’s functionality they do work. Not to mention Tesla’s functionality, It works great. I went with Acura because I thought they are a reputable company. For the amount of money spent by every single person who took the time to write a review to let Acura developers know the app is not working properly, they should have done something by now. When you read their response to every single bad review, seems as a general reply to every single bad review. “Ohh we are sorry you are having a bad experience.” If you know we are having a bad experience, what are you waiting for to fix the issue? That’s why you beta test the app before you release it. I’m so glad I got a lease. After my lease is over, I am looking at Tesla. Not to mention, every time I try to get a charge at the worthless EV go chargers(where I got the charging credits from Acura), they never work. It has been four weeks already, and the chargers do not work. I asked Acura if they can honor the credits on a different charging station, the answer was, no. What good does to me, to have a credit I cannot use. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Acura.

Needs major improvements

The interface has some frustrating usability issues. Refresh times are extremely slow, which makes the overall experience feel laggy. When issuing a command, the confirmation notice disappears after just two seconds—far too fast to confirm whether the action was successful. Additionally, the icons are all greyed out, making it unclear which features are currently active. For example, the climate control can only be turned on from the app; if you change your mind, you have to go into the car to turn it off. A simple improvement would be to add color indicators to icons when they’re active, which would make the interface more intuitive. Additionally, my app did not work for about 3 months, and car was off line for about a month. Acura and onstar blame each other. No easy solution. Still dealing with app not working.
