i like this game a lot, it's fun to play and there's barely any ads. i opened gpixel, played 8 races, and got only one ad afterwards.and it's FREE. a free game of this high quality is a VERY rare find.see THIS is how you monetize without turning your game into an annoyance and a cash grab.big W to the dev(s)now for one small issuei think the time-limited races admittedly are a bit annoying if you're not looking at the timer every second or two, but it isn't impossible.i don't think it needs a complete rework, but it could be changed to be a bit more generous.also, in my other review i asked about maybe adding a level editor.the dev response, among other things, said, "wow, thank you for this awesome review! and yes, we read it all the way to the bottom! 😊 [. . .] you can already create a custom GP in quick race, but we agree that further customization would be very cool. it's a big step, but something we'd love to add if it becomes viable."which basically means "thanks for the review. and probably, just not right now"; and that is great news!i haven't had that much time to play gpixel in a while, so i will have to check it out again and edit my review.(also another question: are developers able to edit their responses to reviews?)you read to the bottom AGAIN??

We’re trying to be conservative with ads because nobody wants a racing game that feels like an ad simulator, but at the same time they help us keep improving GPixel and investing in new features.Multiplayer is hopefully the next big thing, and yes: we’re working on it! A level editor is also a fantastic idea. It’s a big feature, but definitely one we’d love to explore if it becomes viable.You can already create a more specific custom GP in Quick Race, changing some race settings there, but we agree that deeper customization would be very cool.Also, thank you for understanding the idea behind Time Countdown races! We wanted to add variety and a different kind of challenge. That said, we’ve already made the time limits more generous to reduce frustration while keeping the mode exciting.Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback and for being part of our lovely racing community.See you on the racetrack! 🏁

The game was really good off the bat, when I first started and it was a little bit easy and slowly gets harder throughout the game which is fun. The game has ads which is reasonable for a free game and its only $2 to remove them which is good compared to all the knockoff $5-10 no ad packs in other games.Features:I love the idea of leaderboards, they work well and are very cool to see, I think the score should be more rewarding for faster times because if you get a decent run, the difference in points is only like 20 from the number 1 in the world. I also really enjoy the customizing car feature but i think you should gets coins from racing to CHOSE the decals you buy to make it more personal. Also please make it so that you can change your name more than once 🙏.Thanks for this great game and I look forward to playing it more.

I have one request. The leaderboard seems to only save your last races time not your personal best at each track. This keeps me from risking grinding the race to get a better line/score risking losing my place on the leader board. If you guys could make it so your best time overall for each track saved it would be perfect!

I have one request. The leaderboard seems to only save your last races time not your personal best at each track.
