The game is becoming unplayable with all of the events also taking up space on the board. It’s becoming difficult to even make basic orders without deleting some of the upgrade items like rocks, coffee beans, etc. Between coconuts sky journey balloons, Valentine’s Day orders, and other in game special orders for the kid, Carmen etc, there just isn’t room in the board for anything. The other challenge is the orders are always high level orders from producers that only release a few items at a time or take forever to obtain. With the seafood, you have to produce the prepped seafood which takes a while and doesn’t produce a lot of seafood. I’m not sure if the money you get from the seafood even takes into account the extra energy of producing the prepped seafood AND then producing the seafood orders. I always seem to get a lot of the scuba orders, but it isn’t balanced with the inflatables. I can’t count the number of peacock inflatables, high level sandwiches and coffees I’ve had to delete without an order coming up because of the more rare to get items, but seem to be a very common order. It’s always the seafood platter, high level scubas, tea jug, fry plate, and the odd high level seashell thrown in for me. I’m not sure how much longer I will attempt to play this game but the board space and the algorithm for what orders come up are a big issue. The gem cost for resetting order producers is absurd. For example, resetting the nautical storage bin is 2 hours or 97 gems, which is approx $3 CAD. This is not a reasonable price for me for resetting a single producer just to speed things up once. My other issue with this game is how they made Cole into a cheating husband and then introduced him back into the story as anyone worth being romantically involved. I think it would make much more sense if their relationship devolved over the restaurant poisoning incident, not infidelity. Cole is a very toxic person as the story stands and the fact the main character is even considering being romantically interested in him is seriously messed up. I think my story started with them at a casino and him having a couple ladies hanging off of him. Why isn’t he gambling away their savings and a suspect in the poisoning incident and this was the cause for their divorce? The gambling issue and the storyline about the poisoning would make the main characters responses seem a lot more healthy and understandable. Or honestly not even gambling or infidelity, just the poisoning storyline would still make a lot more sense.
