INCREDIBLE INDIE

Survive a new hunt in Vampire Crawlers

A gothic indie sensation gets a wild RPG twist.

Indie Games Week celebrates the App Store’s incredible catalogue of games made by independent teams like Poncle, developer of Vampire Crawlers.

Calling all slayers! Dark forces have risen again, and the endless hordes of Vampire Survivors are back in Vampire Crawlers. Learn new tricks – and face new challenges – in this epic deck-building spin-off.

Unleash attacks in the right order and even the undead hordes won’t stand in your way.

It’s in the cards

With pixel-perfect graphics and bloodthirsty waves of ghouls and ghosts, Vampire Crawlers will feel familiar to seasoned warriors. But instead of weaving through hundreds of monsters at once, you’ll face them in card-based battles – all while trekking through 3D versions of the Mad Forest, Inlaid Library and other classic locations.

You’ll start your journey as Antonio Belpaese (of course). Head over to the Gorton Bell Inn to recruit other legendary vampire slayers, including Arca, Porta and Giovanna – each with unique stats, perks and cards tied to specific deck styles.

Classic weapons, killer combos

Your deck includes spells, items and famous weapons such as the King Bible and trusty Whip. Play cards in numerical cost order (0, 1, 2, etc.) to power up attacks, or add bonus effects by infusing cards with gems. (Why throw a normal dagger when you can toss one that doubles the damage?)

Like its predecessor, Vampire Crawlers encourages experimentation. The only thing more exciting than finding a Runetracer is evolving it into the screen-clearing No Future. How burly can your decks get?

Know before you go

Explore everywhere! If you hastily beeline for the boss, you might stroll right past smashable objects and random debris containing a few coins – or a lifesaving plate of chicken.
