Amazing app but missing consistent line setting.

Wonderful to animate in but it’s not possible to create a consistent line for cleaning up an animation. Line width ALWAYS varies depending on zoom level. This makes the app unable to have a consistent line width throughout the animation.

There is an “dynamic brush scaling” option in the settings but it is for show only, it does not affect the brush scaling. I’m not sure why the option is there, it might be planned for activation in a future update but right now a secondary application is needed for cleaning up the animation.

Great potential…

I love this app but there are so many features missing from it. I want options to select multiple layers to increase or decrease their durations and delete multiple layers at the same time. Currently, it’s in it’s infancy stage, and I hope they will update it soon enough.

Halfbaked, at most.

I will update this review as time goes on, for now the verdict is:
It's easier and more enjoyable to animate in the normal Procreate app.

So I was really excited for this app, but so far it is mostly unusable.
It's missing tons of festures, unless you expect the users to draw in Procreate and manually export and import each frame. I honestly have nothing good to say so far, while Procreate is the most use-friendly art app I have used, this might be among the most user-hostile.

So far...
- No feature to import/export from and to Procreate.
- No selection or lassotool.
- Cannot reorganize layers.
- No masks whatsoever, not even alphamasking.
- Finding the onion-skin setting was just annoying, you have to press the timer? What?
- Getting the new frame + to show up seems to be completely random.
- No shortcut or way to remove empty space in the timeline, you seemingly have to move each frame manually. Cannot select and move them. Handling frames at all to move and reprganize is unresponsive and annoying.
- Nothing seems consistent, sometimes the transform tool shows up, sometimes not.
- When zoomed in on the timelime, only the zoomed in part replays, this needs to be optional.
- No way to resize the canvas after creating the document.

That's the things I have noticed while using it for maybe 2 hours and all I can remember for now.

I might not have been there since day 1 of Procreate, but this seems unfinished in most aspects, and all the love that went into making Procreate a breeze to use have been completely ignored and overlooked. Overpriced for what it is as of now and I am almost certain none of the showcase animations were made in this software, because this is simply annoying and counterproductive to use.

Will I continue to use it? Yes. Was it worth it? No. Do I enjoy using it? No.
