Written in the peak of the first Australian Covid lock-down and partially inspired by a love affair and visits to Hong Kong - Ghost is about checking out. Switching off in despair. Ghosting. This metaphor extends to the political situation in Hong Kong where the world is seen as ‘Ghosting’ Hong Kong – leaving them isolated in their hour of need.
