Shaker doors are made up of 3 parts - rails (side pieces), stiles (top/bottom piece) and a middle panel. For mine, I used 1x3s for my rails and stiles and 1/4in sanded plywood for the middle panel. I'm using my table saw to make the dado cuts. I need the groove to be 1/4in thick so I am running it through my table saw blade twice. I cut all of my panels and I assemble 3 sides of the frame with pocket hole joinery. Insert your panel and then install the 4th side. Voilà! A beautiful shaker drawer
