To me, they also have a strong peony resemblance, which is a huge plus because I love peonies but they only bloom in spring. Dahlias don’t bloom in spring however. They get planted after your last frost and then start blooming in summer all through fall until the frost hits again. They also keep producing flowers as long as you keep cutting from the plants.
