126K views · 10K reactions | Luke and I were in the kitchen cooking together yesterday. I wanted to teach him one more recipe before he left to go back to school in Cincinnati today. He told me that he couldn’t wait to make this one on his own in his apartment. And the thing about this kid is that he always does what he says he’s gonna do 🥹 I saw this recipe on my explores page a couple of years ago from @somethingnutritious (give her a follow…She’s really terrific!) and knew immediately I had to make it. The recipe reminded me of one that I’ve made for a long time now from the Food Network but Gal used honey mustard instead to coat the fish and since I just made a batch of hot honey the other day with my son Patrick, I figured it would be a great use for it. I was right. . . Honey Mustard Panko Salmon . . Preheat oven to 425F 1 lb of salmon 1/4 tsp smoked paprika 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Mix to combine all spices. Set aside 2 heaping tbls Dijon mustard 2 heaping tbls honey (I actually used hot honey but either works!) 1/2 cup panko crumbs 1 tbls olive oil 2 tbsp chopped parsley pinch of salt Rub spices over salmon. Pour the honey mustard over the salmon and brush evenly. Combine the panko, salt, parsley and olive oil in a bowl and sprinkle the crumb mix over the salmon and bake for 12 minutes or until it is the doneness you like . . . . . #salmonrecipes #salmonrecipe #easysalmonrecipe #honeymustardsalmon #honeymustard #simpledinner | Diane Morrisey

We are making salmon picata using the parchment paper trick to prevent the salmon from sticking to the pan and creating a crispy skin then making the most delicious lemon garlic caper sauce to go on top. I guarantee that you will be licking your plate clean and everyone will be calling you a gourmet chef. And who doesn't want that? Anyways, the recipe is in the caption and if you like this, follow for episode 13.

24K views · 2.1K reactions | Brown Butter Cajun Salmon 🧈 Transform your weeknight dinner with this Brown Butter Cajun Salmon—crispy, flaky, and smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce that’s so good, you’ll want to pour it on everything! Comment “Recipe” and I’ll send you the recipe card for free! Ingredients: -15oz salmon (425g) -2 tsp salt -2 tsp black pepper -4 tsp cajun seasoning -Olive oil -3 tbsp butter -1 tbsp parsley, chopped -3 garlic cloves, minced -2 tsp honey Instructions: 1. Start by patting your salmon fillets dry with a paper towel—no one likes soggy fish. Rub them down with a little olive oil, then season generously with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning. Make sure every side is coated. 2. Place the salmon in the air fryer at 400°F (205°C) for 9 minutes. No air fryer? No problem! Bake it in a preheated oven at the same temperature for 12-15 minutes. Either way, you’re going for perfectly flaky salmon with a crispy, flavorful crust. 3. While the salmon’s cooking, melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Stir gently for a few minutes until it turns golden brown and starts smelling nutty—this is the magic moment. Add the minced garlic and honey, and let them mingle for two minutes. Finally, toss in the chopped parsley for a burst of freshness and sauté for one last minute. 4. Once your salmon is done, introduce it to the brown butter sauce. Baste those fillets generously, letting them soak up all the garlicky, buttery goodness. Simmer gently for a minute to coat everything perfectly. 5. Serve the salmon over a bed of creamy mashed potatoes or fluffy rice—your call. Don’t forget to drizzle extra garlic butter on top and sprinkle with a bit more parsley for that “I’m a pro chef” look. Dig in and enjoy the perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and richness! | Ben Chelin
