Katie | Home & lifestyle creator on Instagram: "Renovation diaries part 1; the living room After we created our kitchen extension 4 year ago, the living room was left a sad, neglected space. But I’d spent so long gathering inspiration on here I had a clear vision. We removed the old gas fire and replastered the entire chimney breast. Our amazing joiner built and fitted our alcove cabinets from MDF and we painted them ourselves which kept costs down. We added an oak mantel, used a single floor tile as a hearth stone, and added brick effect wallpaper to the fireplace. I still pinch myself when I walk into this room, and I’m very proud of how I brought my vision to life. The final thing left to do is replace the carpet, as it’s around 8 years old and you definitely don’t want to look clo

We turned this 1800's era sink that we found on #facebook #marketplace into the focal point of our bathroom remodel. #vintagebathroom #bathroomdesign #bathroomremodel #bathroommakeover #bathroomreno #vintagecharm #vintagedecor #cottage #cottagebathroom #cottagecore #nuclearfamily"

I’m definitely a neutrals girl - and my favourite has to be Little Greene - slaked lime mid. To me it’s the perfect, versatile neutral. Becky Clarke on Instagram: "Possibly one of the best pieces of advice I ever ignored 😂😂😂😂 No but seriously, if you wanna go for it. I hope this gives you some inspiration. This really is a trust the process project. Are there chips? I won’t lie, it can happen. But after a year ours is pretty much perfect - it’s worth the maintenance. I personally love mixing neutrals with black. So if you like that too. You’re in the right place. I’m actually painting the final doors up on our landing this week. Looking forward to sharing with you all. Any questions about where anything is from. Kelly on Instagram: "Most Viewed Reel of 2024 I had lots or requests for panelling guides so now that I'm having a slow start to January I will definitely be posting some more guides with calculations. I'll also be panelling my hallway during January so definitely keep an eye out for that guide. #panellingguide #FYI #homedecor #homereno #panelling #diypanelling #mouldings #wallpanelling #ukhome"
Georgina Raine on Instagram: "My proudest transformation of last year 🥹🙌🏼 swipe to see the space before! After almost 5 years, countless attempts at finding the right neutral & hours of my life spent stripping, sanding & painting each & every single one of the 53 spindles, just before Christmas I FINALLY finished this project 🥳🙌🏼 I’m still undecided about adding stair rods though… what do you think?
