Anna French | farm life, motherhood & adventure on Instagram: "Such a fun DIY 🥰🤗~wanna make your own busy board? I added many of the parts we used on my Amazon store, under “DIY Busy Board Materials” (link in bio) P.s. we did start the shopping search for gadgets at our local thrift store, but didn’t find anything we wanted to include on the board there. So everything we used is either from Home Depot or Amazon, with the exception of the rock climbing hold and pvc pipe “ball tunnel” and some scrap wood we had lying around Simple living | slow living | motherhood | toddler mom | farm life #DIY #baby #newmom #momlife #busyboard #toddler #toys #toddlertoys #toddlertips #toddlerlife #diyproject #asmr #nursery #nurserydecor #nurseryinspo #busyboards"
mar on Instagram: "Carpentry tip #400 Perfect seams on baseboards when floors aren’t straight . Doing 45s is incorrect in my opinion since they will all slip and slide with moisture changes, can’t be pressure fitted and good luck lining them up like this on long runs. I do dowel and glue them and have videos for those way down in my feed. I do try and raise the grain with water, then sand afterwards so when the painter sprays it the difference in moisture between the pieces don’t make one of them swell up. Hope this video helps someone !#carpenter #diy #construction"

molly harris | diy furniture flips on Instagram: "If I was just starting out today with no tools + no garage, THIS is how I would flip every single piece. The ‘pottery barn’ finish sells fast & for top $$$. I bought this piece for $50 and sold it for $450 in 24 hours💰 Here’s how I did it: + scuff sand with 150 grit + vacuum/wipe away dust to prep for primer + apply 3 coats of Zinnser bullseye 1-2-3 primer tinted in the color turbo tan (this will give you a wood colored base) and sand lightly with 320 grit before third coat. (If your hardware store won’t tint your primer, you can achieve the same look by priming first then adding tan paint!) + apply two coats of my favorite pickled oak gel stain.. drag the the whisk broom across lightly to create texture & grain. + apply one coat of the

Molly Miller | DIY Home Improvement on Instagram: "Wire shelf upgrade under $100 👏 This might be one of my favorite budget friendly upgrades to date! By keeping the existing wire shelves I saved a ton of time patching/painting and building cleats 🙌 What do you think of the new look? Heres the supply list 👇 -½ in or ¾ in plywood. Hannah Joyce | Home Design & DIY on Instagram: "This is a great beginner friendly DIY that can be done over a weekend! Supplies Needed: - 1” x 2” pine trim - 1” x 4” pine trim - Level - 1.5” finish or brad nails (can use a nail gun or hammer). You can also use glue like liquid nails - White caulk - Hand saw or nail gun • Secure the top trim piece first. I used 4” pine and placed mine at 64”. • Measure and cut each individual 2” vertical trim piece. I spaced them 16” apart to hit the studs in the wall. • Using 1.5” brad nails, I nailed 4 per piece and checked for leveling on each one. • Caulk the seams. This really makes it look finished and professional so you don’t want to skip this step, even if it is really annoying and tedious 😆. • Patch nail holes with joint compound & sand. I u
Jade Sweeney on Instagram: "ad DIY traditional paneling for beginners with B&Q - no tools required! Save for future reference 🤍 The coaster hack makes this so easy! My coaster is 10cm square and this is the spacing between all my panels and the wall/ and between each other! Note still use your level to make sure everything is straight but the coaster really helps quickly do all your even spacing! Such an easy and effective DIY project - I was able to do this in just over a day (and I’m quite slow 😆) A top tip- when cutting your strips a lot will be the same length. Cut them in little batches so you can check they are all matching exactly in length before you glue them onto the wall I’ll list everything I used below from @bandq_uk and my room size for reference below too Love
