Chocolate Peppermint Poke Cake 15.25 ounce box chocolate fudge cake mix + ingredients to prepare the cake 1 1/2 tsp peppermint extract 1 tub cool whip (or your homemade whipped cream- about 2 cups) 10-12 ounce jar hot fudge 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk Crushed candy canes and mini chocolate chips or shaved chocolate for garnish 1. Preheat the oven at 350°F 2. Prepare the cake mix in a 9x13 pan and bake according to the box directions. 3. Meanwhile, mix the sweetened condensed milk with 1 tsp peppermint extract. 4. When the cake is finished baking poke about 40-50 holes in it using the back of a wooden spoon. Make the holes 2/3 of the way down (not all the way through) and about 1/2-1 inch apart. 5. Evenly pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake. 6. Heat the hot fudge
