Alice Springs Chicken
Inspired by the popular Outback Steakhouse dish, Alice Springs Chicken features marinated chicken breasts topped with mushrooms, crispy bacon, and melted cheese for a deliciously indulgent meal.
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts
1/4 cup honey mustard
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Marinate chicken breasts in honey mustard sauce for at least 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook chicken until browned on both sides.
Top each chicken breast with mushrooms, bacon, and cheese.
Transfer to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted. Serve warm!
