Living / Dining Room

Our living room / dining room is really the heart of our home. We watch tv there, the girls play and put on their shows, and we eat some meals there. I've found other places for almost all the toys, and I really want this room to look pulled together. Current color scheme is tan, moss green, and cream. Keeping all the furniture: moss green sofa, tan sofa, cream chair, dark wood desk (that we use as a buffet) and two painted wood china cabinets. Looking for two side tables, a living room rug, a rug for an empty space in the dining room where the girls play, and a runner for the hallway. Will paint 1 or 2 accent walls. Will use some of my vintage tablecloths to make a cover for an ottoman that will double as a coffee table. Ooh - also need 2 radiator covers made. Lastly, I need some fabric covers for the chandelier chain, some nice looking hooks for backpacks, purses, etc. behind the front door, and just 1-2 accent acccessories (vases, plants, etc.).

Just got this rug delivered in the mail. It's darker than it appears in the photo - the red is really more of a reddish brown (not a burgundy) but it's also got some lovely teal accents that you don't see in the photo.

Hmmm, these are close to what I'm looking for, but the hooks are too close together for 2 backpacks, 2 coats, 1 purse, and 1 reusable shopping bag. I might have to make my own, spreading the hooks out a bit.

WANT TO BUY: Love the drawers, shelf, and most of all, the rim around the back and sides to keep my diet coke, prosecco, or side car from sliding off. I'm waiting for it to go on sale, but I'm also looking for something similar in the meantime.
