The Mark Twain Quarterly is a journal devoted to the life and works of the American author Mark Twain. It was founded by Cyril Clemens (1902-1999), a distant cousin of Samuel Langhorn Clemens who edited the magazine from 1936 to 1982. The title was changed to the Mark Twain Journal with the Summer 1954 issue.
This is a scan of the Stephen Vincent Benét memorial issue of the
Mark Twain Quarterly from 1943 with articles about Benét and tributes to him in prose and verse by Robert Nathan, Carl Sandburg, August Derleth, Struthers Burt, Joseph Auslander, Frank Luther Mott, Vice President Henry A. Wallace, and more. There's also an interview with Benét, conducted sometime before his death in 1943.
