181 volumes 22-25 cm
Vols. 57-127 are called "New ser., v. 1-71."
"The London review of which 2 vol. had been already published, was now [1836] united with the Westminster review, the first vol. of the joint series being numbered vol. 3 and 25. After vol. 7 and 29 the double numeration was discontinued, and vol. 1 and 2 of the London review were added, so as to count as the commencement of the new series: the volume immediately succeeding v. 7 and 29 being numbered vol. 32 of the united London and Westminster review." Brit. nos. catalogue
Absorbed the London review in April 1836, and later added the volume numbering of that periodical to its own, v. 1-2 of the London review (Apr. 1835-Jan. 1836) being counted as v. 29-30 of the Westminster review
In October 1846 the Foreign quarterly review and the Westminster review were united; separate editions of the periodicals were published until Jan. 1847, entitled, respectively, The Foreign quarterly and West minster review, and The Westminster and foreign quarterly review, the subject matter being the same. After this date The Foreign quarterly review ceased separate publication
