What is Aware AI?

Aware AI is an assistive pilot alertness and flight debrief MVP. It combines camera-based fatigue cues, session context, route/map state, and Hami AI guidance to help pilots notice changes in alertness during and after a flight. It is not certified avionics, a medical device, or an autopilot system.

How does Aware AI work?

During a monitoring session, the app analyzes face and attention signals from the phone camera, tracks session timing and route context, and surfaces short guidance when attention may be changing. After the session, reports summarize trends and let pilots ask Hami about what happened.

Which platforms are supported?

The MVP is available for Android testing now through our release builds. Because Aware AI is built in Flutter, iOS support is on the product roadmap; TestFlight/App Store release is planned soon after signing, review, and device QA are complete.

Where does Aware AI fit in a pilot workflow?

Aware AI is designed as a lightweight companion around pre-flight readiness, live alertness awareness, and post-flight debriefing. It supports personal awareness and team safety conversations, but does not replace SOPs, checklists, cockpit instruments, rest requirements, or professional judgment.

Is my data secure with Aware AI?

Aware AI is being built with privacy-by-design practices: authenticated app/backend calls, no static LLM API key bundled in the mobile app, and controlled access to session data. Public testers should review the privacy policy, and enterprise deployments can define retention and access rules.

Can I use Aware AI for long-term monitoring?

Yes. The product is designed to help pilots and teams review trends across sessions, spot recurring fatigue patterns, and improve the debrief conversation over time.

How accurate is Aware AI in detecting fatigue?
