Vama Veche
The Most Boem Place of Romania !
A village on the Black Sea coast, near the border with Bulgaria, Vama Veche has the reputation of a non-mainstream tourist destination.
It is a hangout for intellectuals, artists, rockers, bohemians, punkers and goths.
Accommodations consist of tents or rooms rented from peasants or fishermen and, now of some small hotels. While camping is theoretically not permitted, to this day, many visitors or semi-permanent residents still stay in tents on the beach.
