Here’s the garden plan for you. 12 years in with this method, in two totally opposite climates, and I’ve had zero problems with slugs, termites, ants, earwigs… Last summer, during a record breaking drought, I didn’t have to turn on my hose one time, and my garden still thrived. 4.5 years ago when I started over here in Nashville, this garden area was hard clay. Even dandelions didn’t grow! Adding organic material and compost, year after year, the soil just keeps getting better. Last year I had to use a ladder to pick my okra, it got so big!
