Total Eclipse by Adrian C. Murray
We see four eclipses in 2022, two in May, one in October, and November. Two are a Partial Solar Eclipse, the other two are a Total Lunar Eclipse.
The moon passed through Earth's shadow in the final total lunar eclipse of 2022 on Nov. 8th 2022 and it was an amazing sight. The Beaver Blood Moon turned an eerie copper-red hue visible across North America, parts of Australia, Asia, the Pacific & South and Central America. It was the last lunar eclipse of 2022 & the last total lunar eclipse until 2025 #lunareclipse #science 11.8.22
So? Did you see it??? We visited my Father-in-law and watched the eclipse on his rooftop terrace. We had our eclipse glasses and a homemade pinhole camera. It was amazing!! Cloudy off and on but we did see "totality" obviously as per this photo - it was incredible! What an experience, it was dark as dusk and the temperature dropped considerably! 🌙☀️ #eclipse #celestial #canada #solareclipse

July 21, 2009 total solar eclipse near third contact as shadow leaves the horizon, giving the horizon an orange glow. The far edge of the shadow is about to reach the Sun as the shadow comes toward us, ending totality. Taken from Northern Cook Islands, at sea on m/s Paul Gauguin. Using 20Da and 28-105mm lens at 60mm at f/5 and ISO100. Mercury, blurred by ship's motion, at top. Photo by Alan Dyer © 2009.
