Thread interior design

Custom interior light by Christopher Baker. Base is made of Museum Grade Aniegre wood from Africa. Black on side of wood base is created using Japanese Shou-sugi-ban burning technique. Structure of light is made with brass tubing and jeweler’s brass sheet. Lamp shade is made up of two parts. 4 paper panels of Uda-gami Japanese paper 40 g and 2 fabric panels of hand loomed raw Pineapple Fiber sewn with light blue kimono silk thread.
